The price was right and I wasn't expecting anything special. I was surprised. It is, externally, identical to the OEM battery except for the label. It appears that the same molds and even identical plastics were used to produce it. It checked out up to spec on my multi-meter, and has operated for more than a month now under fairly heavy use.

I have used this battery pack for approximately 3 hrs in my Makita Cordless Drill, and so far it has worked fine with no fast power drain even under removing 100 3" deck screws. I have had to charge the battery twice. The real test of course is a lot of use and time. The price was right and the Makita brand was several dollars more at Lowes.

This battery works very well. Just as good if not better than the actual Makita battery. They are all overpriced in my opinion, but this one is about $15.00 cheaper than OEM. It is made in Japan, not China like other replacements. This does matter. Japan (Panasonic) leads the world in battery quality and technology. Bottom line....The battery is worth the price.
